Hello there Stephen Fry Fans!
We here at the Stephen Fry Soc (or FrySoc as the younger members call the venerable society) enjoy nothing more than sitting down, and having a good natter about Our Lord and Master, Stephen Fry.
Stephen (as we devotees call Him) was born in the 20th centuary, and will die in the 21st (unless technology develops to stop the whole 'death' thing, and, knowing Stephen Fry, the genius will have a hand in it's development).
He spreads his word through the medium of Television, Books, Film and reading out the Harry Potter books for daef people, and those on long car journeys. Truly His talent knows no bounds. Except for music, which he is apparently rubbish at.
Who are we? Stephen is a national treasure of the British people, and we at The LUSFA Soc believe that any citizen would willingly lay don their lives for Him.
- Oscar Wilde was a wit, writer and bon viveur in almost exactly the same way that Stephen Fry is.
- Stephen Fry was born in 1957 almost exactly 103 years after Oscar Wilde - coincidence? - a likely story!
- Both identify with socialist causes
- Both explore their own lives through their writings, Stephen with The Liar, and Oscar with The Picture of Dorian Gray
- Both spent time in prison
- Both attended Oxbridge Universities
- Need We continue? It seems clear to the members of LUSFA Soc.
